Meet Trevor Ewigleben!
My job here at Trava is basically to have conversations with people, see where they are in their cybersecurity and cyber insurance journeys, where they want to be, and then help determine the best ways to fill that gap.
To boil it down into three words is really difficult. I would have to say family, fun, and dedicated because we treat each other like family, we like to have a really good time, but we're also dedicated to our client's success.
So I would say my happy place, a couple years ago, I would've said it was in a bungalow down in Aruba. That's been my happy place for a long time. But since getting married, since adopting three little ones, my happy place now is wherever they are.
That's tough. If I were to go back and talk to my 13 year old self, I would probably say,
“Trust yourself. Everything's going to be all right. And give your mother a hug."
I really like this one by Winston Churchill, and it says,
"To improve is to change. So to be perfect is to change often."
Our internal project called Travathon. And with that, we were looking at the future of the company coming up, brainstorming ideas as a team. And what was really cool for me to see was that no matter how big or small an idea came or an idea was or where it came from, it was strongly considered.
Dogs.
Don't be afraid to pick up the phone. You never know what somebody is going to say. In my field, not just within cybersecurity, but within sales in general, don't be afraid to have tough conversations.
